I'm going to be a Big Sister!

Mom found out last week that I'm going to be a big Sister in February! I'm already practicing my hugging! Do I have to share my crib, too?

Postcard from Grandma

Grandma sent me a postcard. Yes, I'm reading it - just let me finish telling you what it says!

Dad grilled Jeff's salmon for dinner before Jeff, Brandy, and Samantha had to leave. Their house in Minot, ND is safe, but they have a lot of friends that were not as fortunate. They even have to boil their water because of the flood waters.

The salmon was great (at least that's what everyone said), but I'll stick to my hot dogs. Wish you guys could have stayed longer!

Mom and I went for a walk with Brandy and Samantha while Jeff and Dad were fishing. Silly Dads - don't they know they won't catch anything unless I'm there?

Playing with Samantha

Brandi, Jeff, and Samantha came to visit us from Minot, North Dakota yesterday! We visited them at Thanksgiving last year. They came just in time - we had the warmest day of the summer (92 F) so Samantha and I played in the pool. Later, Dad, Jeff, and Rick went fishing and Jeff caught his first Idaho salmon!

We had a great time at the Luau. I stayed up until 7 pm and then I waved night-night to everyone. I think Mom and Dad stayed up later - they looked pretty tired the next morning. You guys should have went to bed when I did! Even Jetta got decorated for the occasion!

Luau!

Mom invited all of Dad's co-workers and our neighbors to a Luau at our house. Mom likes planning parties. We spent all day Friday (6/17) setting up our neighborhood. Mom would put something up and then I would re-arrange it. Aren't we a great team?
