Home at last! I had a great vacation, but I was ready to come home. Jetta had a great time staying with Papa Rick and his dog Hokus. She hardly wanted to come home - until she saw me, of course!
The wedding was past my bedtime. Dad tried to get me to sleep in the car, but the horses and wagon with Jeremy and Miranda woke me up. Eventually, I just stayed up with Mom and Dad until Dad took me home to the cabin we were staying at. Mom and Dad missed taking any pictures of Jeremy and Miranda because they were hanging out with me - that's how it should be!
The water was cold in Stanley, but Dad still went swimming. He's a little crazy! Uncle Will went swimming eventually, but it took him a while to acclimate to the water. He felt bad that Mom wouldn't let me go in and get hypothermia so he bought me a stuffed sockeye salmon at the gift shop. I'm not so sure about stuffed fish, yet!
Dad went fishing with our friend Jeremy (who is getting married this weekend) and his friends at Independence Lakes. Wow - there was still snow up there!
We stayed in Boise for a couple of days and then stayed with our friends Ron and Cheryl and Josh and Cassie in Buhl. I loved learning how to let Josh and Cassie's lab, Phasi, in and out of the house. No problem - this one's on me!
Everyone brought a different kind of seafood for the Sunday night seafood boil. We brought salmon that Dad caught in Orofino. All the food was really yummy! Of course, I had to go to bed early and brush my teeth!
Last weekend we went to Steve and Colleen Brandon's (James' parents) cabin in northern Washington. We had a blast. The weather was warm and there were lots of kids and pets to play with!
Last week we went to the circus with James, Charlene and Wesley in Dayton, Washington. I had fun for the first 30 minutes, then I wanted to join the fun! Why don't they make an interactive circus???
