Bug!

Dad, I think there is a bug up your nose! Don't worry, I'll find it! Mom, come quick!

Wait!

Wait, I think playtime just started.......

Sleepy

I think we are sleepy.........

Hi Dad!

Hi Dad, What you doing?

New Shoes

Aunt Alanna brought me new clothes and pink shoes. I liked the shoes so much that I wore them to bed!

The Fly

Kip said this fly would work - it did! Caught Mom just perfectly!

Changing Flies and Swapping Stories

Since the fishing was slow, Kip swapped stories with Mom and Dad and tied on a lot of new flies. He kept saying, "Just around the corner" and "Cmon Fish!". But, even Kip's best efforts didn't find them a fish!

After coaxing the fish didn't work, Kip told Mom and Dad about his adventures as a professional guide in Alaska, Argentina, Chile, the Middle Fork, and several other exotic (to Dad) places. Dad wanted a job application, Mom thought a shoe shopping stop along the river would be nice!

Mom learning to Fly Fish

Mom and Dad had a really good fishing guide, Kip, who taught Mom everything he knew about casting Spey rods (two-handed). Kip also tried to teach Dad, but he wasn't a very good learner!

Aunt Alanna's Bucket List

Aunt Alanna came to visit this weekend with her friend, Mo, her niece, Melissa, and Melissa's boyfriend, Justin. Aunt Alanna wanted to check "fly fishing" off their bucket list. I got to visit Kristen (babysitter) all day while Mom and Dad went fishing with them. They fished all day for steelhead with three guides, but didn't manage to catch anything! That's fishing!
