Postcard from Grandma
Grandma sent me a postcard. Yes, I'm reading it - just let me finish telling you what it says!
Salmon Dinner
Dad grilled Jeff's salmon for dinner before Jeff, Brandy, and Samantha had to leave. Their house in Minot, ND is safe, but they have a lot of friends that were not as fortunate. They even have to boil their water because of the flood waters.
The salmon was great (at least that's what everyone said), but I'll stick to my hot dogs. Wish you guys could have stayed longer!
Walking by the River
Mom and I went for a walk with Brandy and Samantha while Jeff and Dad were fishing. Silly Dads - don't they know they won't catch anything unless I'm there?
Samantha Fishing
Dad showed Samantha how to salmon fish - they didn't catch any - bummer! Dad, when do I get to run the fishing pole?
