Dust!

On the last day of hunting, Dad, Rob, and Allen got really close to a herd of elk.  They hatched a plan that involved Rob and Dad walking all the way around the herd from the bottom up.  After a 1500 foot vertical climb, they reached the herd just below Allen with 45 minutes of light left.  Rob got to within 29 yards of the bull, but he wouldn't turn to get a shot!

Defeated, Rob and Dad rode on the back of Allen's four wheeler to get out for 4 miles.  They were a dusty mess when they finally reached their rides!
