New Mexico Hunt Draw Results are Posted!

Dad is pretty excited.  Mom drew a once-in-a-lifetime Valle Vidal elk tag in New Mexico.  This is the spot that Dad has been hunting for shed elk antlers.  He says there are elk everywhere!  Mom's hunt is in late October this year.

Dad didn't draw an elk tag, but he got a Barbary Sheep tag for February 2016.  Barbary sheep were introduced to New Mexico in the mid-60's and are native to northern Africa.  This is a google pic, we've haven't seen one yet in New Mexico - most are much farther south.
